Get Ready for Book Week Parade! 📚🎉

Dear Parents and Carers,

Book Week is just around the corner! This year’s theme is ‘Book and Adventure’

Leading up to Week 5, we’ll be diving into a world of stories and imagination, and one of the highlights is our much-loved Book Week Parade on Wednesday, August 20. 

For families new to FNPS, Book Week has long been a celebration of all things reading with author visits, fun activities, and, of course, the big parade.

We’d love to see students dress up as their favourite book characters (or even authors!). 

Even though there is a ‘theme’ each year, costumes do not have to fall into this category. 

There’s no need to buy a costume—some of the most creative outfits we’ve seen have been made from things like dress-ups you already have at home, cardboard boxes, and a bit of imagination.

We can’t wait to see the magical, funny, and clever costumes that come through the school gates!
