Across the school, students have been engaged in music lessons with curiosity, creativity, and rhythm! From energetic bucket drumming to line dancing, every class is exploring sound and patterns in joyful hands-on ways. Senior and Middle students are making music in groups with bucket drums, combining rhythm, coordination, and teamwork using everyday materials. Students are discovering the ukulele, learning basic chords, playing within a group, and strumming along to favourite songs. Junior students are exploring sound contrasts like fast/slow and loud/quiet through movement games, rhythmic bands, ribbons, dancing, instruments including maracas, rhythm sticks, and ocean drums.
