Term 3 has been a busy and exciting time for our senior students. They have been out and about in the community, taking part in volunteer opportunities, work placements, and day programs. All these activities have been within our local area, giving students the chance to learn, practice new skills, and connect with community groups.

Below is the list of community places they have visited.

  • Music Space – Cloverdale Community Centre
  • General Public  - Corio Village
  • Library  - Western Heights Community Library
  • Inclusion Way – Breakwater
  • Wright of Passage Program – Geelong Waterfront
  • Fire Station – Geelong West CFA
  • Caruso's Bricklaying Pty. Ltd. - Batesford

By engaging in these programs, our students build confidence, independence, and social skills in real settings outside the classroom. These opportunities also help our students discover what they enjoy and what they are good at, while learning important everyday routines. Most importantly, they support our students to feel included and ready for future pathways.
