A Message from the Assistant Principal

Growth Mindset - The Transfiguration of the Lord (6th August) – A Reminder of the Climb

This special feast reminds us of the beauty and challenge of the climb. Great things often happen on mountains. I like to think that it is because we have made the effort to ascend. In the same way, growth requires challenge. With a growth mindset and a willingness to climb, our students continue to transform and shine.

Upcoming Cafe Meeting – Homework and Family Partnerships

We look forward to welcoming families to our upcoming Cafe Homework collaboration, where we will explore the role of homework and how we can continue building strong partnerships between home and school to support student learning. If you have not registered, there is information further on in this newsletter.

Communication with Classroom Teachers – Please Email to Arrange a Time

Please note that on the playground, before and after school are not the best times to discuss important matters with classroom teachers or school leaders. It is important that these meetings are planned.

Communication from parents must first be directed through the school office via email. Parent's first point of call in regards to their children is the class teacher.

Term 3 – A Celebration of Learning

Term 3 is rich with opportunities to celebrate learning across the school. With Book Week, Science Week, and Literacy and Numeracy Week ahead, we are reminded that learning is our core business. We are committed to nurturing not just academic growth, but the development of the whole child.

With gratitude,

Anthony Matthews
