Year Four

Anglesea Camp

What an unforgettable experience our Year Four students had at camp in Anglesea during Week Two! The three days in Anglesea were filled with excitement and teamwork with our students taking part in a variety of engaging activities that promoted risk taking, open mindedness, personal growth and friendship.

The students faced their fears and worked together to complete activities such as the giant swing and vertical challenge where they encouraged each other to take the leap! Many found the courage to soar high above the ground, cheering one another on as well as develop problem-solving skills and build trust in their group. Their enthusiasm even encouraged the teachers to challenge themselves and have a go at the activities.

Students also enjoyed hut building, archery and team brain games where they loved exploring new skills, cooperation and creativity with their friends to create a hut from natural resources and complete hands-on challenges.

Our Year Fours were so excited to share their camp stories with their families and friends when we arrived home and wrote down all their favourite memories in our writing session on Friday!
