Funky Fridays in Year One

Every Friday, our Year One students get to experience something exciting: Funky Fridays! This has replaced our PMP that usually took place on Fridays. It is a special time when all students mix with friends from different classes to enjoy a creative art activity together. Each week, students explore a fun new art project for example Eric Carle inspired minibeast collages and silhouettes of ourselves showcasing how we are all unique. 

Funky Fridays let our students experiment with different art materials and techniques. It's a wonderful chance for them to use their imaginations, learn new skills, and express themselves through art. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to make new friends from other classes!
