Transition and Community Engagement

Busy Start to Term 4 in Transition and Community Engagement

Term 4 has kicked off with tremendous energy and excitement, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling end to the year. Our transition and community engagement programs are in full swing, bringing together students, families, and staff to create meaningful experiences.

Year 7 2025 Information Evening

The Year 7 2025 Information Evening took place on Tuesday 22 October in the O’Neil Auditorium, buzzing with excitement as incoming students and their families gathered to learn more about the opportunities our school offers. It was heartwarming to see such a fantastic turnout, reflecting the enthusiasm and curiosity of the incoming cohort.

Our student leaders played a key role, delivering insightful speeches about school programs, extracurricular activities, and the academic and personal support they receive from teachers. Their authentic insights into student life left families reassured and excited to join the school community.

Marian Discovery Day

On Tuesday 29 October, Holy Eucharist Primary School students got a taste of secondary life during a Marian Discovery Day. They participated in hands-on lessons across Science, Food, and Woodwork, followed by a fun recess in the Resource Centre, where they explored books and enjoyed Halloween-themed activities. Jamie, our chef, treated them to freshly baked muffins, while teachers enjoyed coffees from the V-Café, which were thoroughly appreciated.

The visit continued with a presentation from student leaders and alumni, who shared personal stories and highlighted the programs and pathways offered at the school. With time to spare, our student leaders led the visiting students in lively activities on the oval, including rounders, tag, and fruit salad. The day ended with smiles all around as both students and teachers left with positive memories of their visit.

With more activities, celebrations, and transition events on the horizon, our school community is gearing up for an incredible end to the year!
