Dear BMGS Community,
Welcome to Term 4! I hope you had a restful break and are ready for what promises to be a busy and exciting term ahead.
Huge congratulations to all the incredible participants of the 45km Bungawarra Charity Walk! This year marked the 30th Anniversary of this amazing event, and despite the challenging weather, sore feet, and one wayward shopping trolley (!), your resilience and selflessness truly shone through.
Thanks to the generous support of staff, parents, and caregivers, we’re proud to raise funds for Compassion Australia, the Ibulanku School Project in Uganda, and Greystanes Disability Services. Every step you took not only made a difference for those in need but also helped build character and strengthen our community. We're proud of each and every one of you.
This term, we start off with a new timetable, so please ensure your child is familiar with any adjustments to their schedule.
Term 4 is a significant period, particularly for our Year 12 students as they began their HSC exams on Tuesday, 15th October. We wish them the very best as they embark on this important milestone.
A Few Friendly Reminders:
Punctuality: Please ensure that students arrive to school on time, as it is important they are present for tutor sessions, which set the tone for the day.
Mobile Phone Policy: A reminder that all mobile phones should be locked in student lockers throughout the school day in accordance with our mobile phone policy.
Uniform Policy: Please make sure that your child is adhering to the school's uniform policy, maintaining a neat and professional appearance as outlined in our guidelines.
The term will continue with various HSC exams, assessments, and school events. Please keep an eye on school communication for updates on specific activities that may pertain to your child.
We are especially mindful of our Year 12 students and their families during this time. Your support is crucial as they navigate their final exams. We look forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming assemblies, sports events, and special gatherings as we celebrate the successes of Term 4.
