In the kitchen this term the Year 6's have been cooking their recipe requests and reflecting on their time in the NMPS kitchen, so far we have made:

  • Hand Stretched Pizza with Tomato and Garlic Passata, Mozzarella and Fresh Garden Herbs
  • Creamy Rigatoni, NMPS Garlic Bread and Garden Salad
  • Chickpea and Paprika Burgers with Homemade Buns, Fresh Cos, and Pickled Red Onion

Year 6 B Reflection

What we have learnt in NMPS kitchen garden classes:

  • I learnt to always clean up after myself
  • I learnt to be resourceful about the foods I use
  • I learnt to eat healthy, fresh foods very regularly
  • We learnt new recipes
  • We learnt about exotic flavours and textures
  • We learnt that things don't have to be sugary to be yummy
  • We learnt to always wash our hands
  • ps Pizza is the best one!

"My experience with cooking in school was an awesome time, since Year 3, Ive been cooking absolutely incredible food that I don't normally "make".
