Parents and students of next year's Year 7 group will have the opportunity to learn about the exciting first year of secondary school at Charlton College for 2025. Please get in contact if you have any further questions.

A friendly reminder to all parents/guardians to please ensure all students are bringing their drink bottles to school. With the warm weather, it is important that all students remain hydrated along with have access to a hat and drinker to limit interruptions in class.

Book Recommendation by Josh and Lilymae

Josh recommended the book Last Comics on Earth by Joshua Pruett, Jay Cooper and Douglas Holgate. The very funny adventure graphic novel involves the main characters of June, Quiny, Jack and Dirk in post-apocalyptic world. They try to find a legendary weapon to defeat the monsters. He would recommend the book to Years 4 and up and rates it 5/5 stars.

 

Lilymae recommended the book Sisters by Raina Telgemeier. It is a graphic novel set in a house and car with main characters Amara, Raina, Mum and Dad. The main part of the story is when Raina, Amara and her mum, dad and baby brother go on a road tip to see there cousins. Lilymae recommends the book to Year 3 to 6 and rates it 5/5 stars.
