State Champion

Brinbeal Secondary College congratulates Elijah Azzopardi on his outstanding results at the State Athletics Competition.

Elijah represented the College in the 200m and 400m achieving personal best results in both events.

Elijah took out first place in the 400m with a time of 54.79s and second place in the 200m with a time of 24.87s. Elijah will be heading the the National Athletics Championships next year.

My goal early this year was to make it to the State Athletics. My goal was made and my experience was amazing. It was Monday in the afternoon and I had the 200m. I tried and pushed but missed the result by 5 milliseconds and came 2nd. My last race was the 400m I really wanted the 1st place. I pushed and pushed then came first. I was happy that I represented the school once again.
