Main Campus - Year 4
This term is flying by, it's hard to believe that we are already in week 7 and nearing the end of term!
We have been enjoying settling into the new routines both at Carlsruhe and the main campus. We have also been busy with the PAT assessments and the students have done a fabulous job showing us what excellent learners they are, whilst demonstrating their growing wealth of knowledge and increasing resilience.
During Maths, students have been looking at the properties of 2D and 3D shapes, identifying their features using language such as number of faces, edges and vertices. They will be using their skills to create a cartoon character.
The next few weeks will be busy for our students as they work on their own Biomes projects during our Literacy sessions, creating an informative poster about a Biome found here in Australia and using a key location as a case study. They are sounding really fantastic so far and the students are enjoying applying their research skills to locate the information they require. We can't wait to see their finished creations and listen to them present them to our class community.
Have a fabulous week!
