NSWCPS CROSS COUNTRY

St Xavier's had four runners (Ari Mallon, Anna Beer, Angus Hinchcliffe and Tom Johnson) representing the Armidale Diocese at the NSWCPS Cross Country held at the Sydney International Equestrian Center on Wednesday 11th June. All four runners should be very proud to have progressed to this level of competition. Your hard work and training paid off.

ACS Gary McSweeney Cup and Rugby Union Trials

On Friday 30th May, St Xavier’s sent a team of Year 5 and Year 6 students to Tamworth for the Gary McSweeney Cup.  St Xavier's played well, getting better with each game they played, and making it into the Grand Final at the end of the day. Unfortunately the STX Team went down to St Edward’s Tamworth in a tight game. Thank you to Mrs Stevenson for all her organisation and thank you to Mr Mainey for giving up his time to coach and support us.

The day also served as the trials for the Diocesan Rugby Union Team. Congratulations to Rafe Denovan, Flynn Locke, Tom Beer, Harry Hobson, Angus Johnson and Josh Jeffrey for being selected in the possible probables match and to Angus and Josh who made the Polding team to compete in Forbes at the end of June, well done boys! 

ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Thursday 3rd July

Don't forget, buses will not be dropping off or picking up students at the carnival.

Students must go straight to Donnelly Playing Fields, do not come to school. Parents are responsible for getting children to and from the carnival.
