Prayer of Service
Lord Jesus, in service You washed the feet of Your disciples, offering us a model of humility, love and respect. Open our hearts to Your presence in those we assist. That we may offer them the same spirit of dedicated service, compassion and love You showed. May we, through our actions of service and generosity, lighten their burdens by providing for their immediate necessities and offering them hope, peace and justice.
Vinnies Winter Appeal 2025
Next Thursday the 19th of June we are having a ‘Wear Your Favourite Team Colours Day.’ Every gold coin donated will be passed onto our local St Vincent de Paul Society to help people in our own local community doing it tough this Winter.
Vinnies supports tens of thousands of individuals and families each year who are experiencing financial and housing insecurity. This year, our Winter Appeal theme will be “no one chooses to be homeless”.
We are focusing on addressing homelessness, highlighting the factors that lead to homelessness and the support needed to recover and rebuild over the long-term of experiencing homelessness.
The Vinnies Winter Appeal plays a major role in ensuring our Members and Volunteers can continue to provide support to the people we assist and that our services are able to meet their individual needs.
Altar Serving
If your child is interested in Altar Serving, please contact the office or email bmurphy3@arm.catholic.edu.au so information can be passed on to you.
Parents and students meet with Fr Abmar for 2 sessions at the Church before being commissioned at mass. The dates are below:
- Commissioning Mass - Saturday 28th June (Boggabri) and Sunday 29th June (Gunnedah)
- Session 1 - Tuesday 17th June
- Session 2 - Tuesday 24th June
Parish Mass
Yesterday Yr 5 students attended Parish Mass, thankyou to Fr Antony for leading us in this celebration.

Term 2 Whole School Mass - Friday 4th of July - 9:15am - St Joseph's Church - families welcome
We have had a large donation of stamps which we will be sending away at the end of Week 9. If you have any stamps to donate please send them to school.
The stamps will be sent to Mary MacKillop Today. All you need to do is collect your stamps, new or used, it doesn’t matter (they’ll even take your collections and albums). The stamps are trimmed and sorted with the help of volunteers and then sent to an auction house where they are sold to collectors.
