Buddies

It has been wonderful opportunity for the Year 6 and Prep students to connect this year through our buddy program. The Year 6 students have showed excellent leadership and been a friendly face around the school to their buddies. It has been fantastic seeing the Preps grow in confidence and work with older students. 

Over the last five weeks, during Prep 2024 transition, the Year 6 students have worked with their buddies to complete a variety of tasks with a focus on communication, team work, problem solving and fun.

Oliver- We have enjoyed working with the preps and do fun activities. We drew with chalk.

Tvisha- It was fun working with my buddy. My favourite activity was making a boat together. It floated in the water. 

Sia- It was a great experience working with two buddies. I got to know my buddy more and communicate with them.

Seth- I enjoyed working with my buddy.  I would give him a high five and he would say hi around the school.
