DPS Robotics
Term 4, Level 5 and 6
At this moment, our students are learning about electricity and magnetism in Robotics.
Before we dive deep into Arduino and robotics, our students are working on small projects involving several components, and we practise measuring Volts for electricity and Ohms in resistors using a multimeter.
Each student participates in the building of an electric motor, competing in teams to create the fastest and most efficient contraption.
During these activities, our students are taught about electricity and safety as well.
We believe that real robotics must be understood from the ground up, starting with the science behind how components work and why.
In the pictures, you can see students learning about breadboards to create connections between components and powering them using batteries, LEDs and resistors.
