Year 12 

Celebration Day

A great day was had by all who participated in the Year 12 Celebration Day at Luna Park. It was fantastic to see the students, many in their creative and colourful costumes relax, have fun, and enjoy each other’s company before their exams begin next week. Many screams (a combination of delight and terror) were heard, as the students (and staff) enjoyed the thrills of the rattling old Scenic Railway, the Supernova, the Double Dragon, and the Pharaoh’s Curse.

Luna Park has been around for as long as Kurt has 100 years plus! We had so much fun despite the sad reality that we were celebrating our final day with year 12s! It was awesome to have the whole place booked out for our college, teachers and students definitely made the most of the unlimited rides!

On the 19th of October, the Year 12 students and their Pastoral Care teachers were blessed with a beautiful day to celebrate completing their final year of school. Luna Park was booked out and the sun was shining. Students and staff enjoyed the rides and food together and made great memories. It was a fantastic celebration and farewell for the cohort of 2023.

It was joyous to see the students having fun and enjoying their day out at Luna Park. It was a great way to have students celebrate the end of official lessons to let off steam in a positive way and spend quality time with their teachers, some of whom have known them since their year 10 days.
