Heritage Roll

The Selection of the 2024 Additions to the St Virgil's Heritage Roll of Honour

The Decision Making Process

  • The OVA Committee invites the St Virgil’s College alumni to nominate candidates for consideration (by end of October). The names of these candidates, together with consideration being given to those whose achievements are already on file (the archives contains nearly 900 ‘achievement’ stories). Nominations to grainbow@stvirgils.tas.edu.au
  • The archivist takes the responsibility for evolving a list of about 30 possibilities.
  • A subcommittee then reduces that list to approximately 12.
  • These names, together with full profiles, are then submitted to the full committee for consideration and subsequent voting.
  • The successful nominees are informed and invited to accept the nominations.
  • Outcomes published in OVAtions and inductions effected at the Annual Dinner.
