Outside School Hours Care

at Ivanhoe Primary School

02/11/2023, Week 5, Term 4.

Wominjeka to OSHC at Ivanhoe Primary School!

We would like to begin by acknowledging the Wurrunjeri People of the Woi Wurrung people, past, present and future.

The custodians of the Birrarung Marr (Yarra River) and the land which we know, learn and play on, as Outside School Hours Care.

This week is Harry Potter Week at Outside School Hours Care! The other celebration is... Halloween!

We had only healthy snacks for Halloween on Tuesday, as many children were going Trick or Treating.

We had Pitta Bread, brushed with canola oil, then cut up and roasted in the oven to be like chips with fruit and veggies.

We made sure that all of the fruit and veggies got eaten up before leaving OSHC, especially for the tricksters!

Sustainability

Stay tuned to hear who will win the colouring in competition for the Great Aussie Bird count, colouring competition.

We still have children who have an interest in bird watching which is nice.                         Next we need to think about how we can attract different types of birds to our garden? Please share any ideas you have on this with Lexi.

I can the pass on your ideas to an actual landscape gardener!

See you soon everyone,

Triganin!

That's all for now,

Lexi
