Murri Yulu Gaay (Yulu-gi) Dance Group

On Tuesday 24th our Murri Yulu Gaay Dance group was invited to perform for a regional meeting the Benevolent Society was holding at the Dhiiyaan Centre. Our students exuded pride as they showcased their cultural heritage and talent through a traditional dance.

On the following Thursday our School had some special visitors - Dallas McInerney CEO of Catholic Schools NSW, Sharon Cooke State Manager Aboriginal Education of NCNSW along with Karen Tighe and Regina Menz School Performance Leader from CSO Armidale. Our very talented Murri Yulu Gaay Students performed their traditional dance for our guests along with presenting our guests with handcrafted gifts and a message to follow for a Hope, Filled-Future. The feedback we received regarding our students' performance, demeanor, and speaking abilities was truly heartwarming, as this group of students takes great pride in striving to be the best they can be.
