Profile- Viren Dholakia

this year's newsletters so you can get to know them.
Hi everyone, my name is Viren Dholakia and I have been a part of the school council at Carnegie Primary School since 2020.
We are a family of 3. Myself, my wife Sowmya and our son Vaibhav. Vaibhav is proud to be one of the founding members of the cubing club at CPS and is in year 5. When we moved from Westmead in NSW 4 years ago, we were looking to move to a place with a good school, closer to the city and that brought us to Carnegie. We love the community and proximity to CBD.
I am from an IT background. I have worked across different domains like Telecom, e-Commerce, Insurance, Hospitality and Banking. Currently, I am working at NAB.
Coming from an IT and Engineering background, my motivation to join the school council was to learn, understand and contribute in the decision making that would support the children in the community and their journey at school.
