Y9/10 The Big Bang

Our Year 9/10 The Big Bang students embarked on a mind-blowing journey to the Synchrotron on Friday 10 November. Exploring the fascinating world of light and its precision in imaging, they connected the dots with their recent studies on the properties of light. The tour through the facility revealed the full scope of cutting-edge Science and Engineering right here at our own doorstep. From the unveiling of a Degas painting hidden beneath 'Portrait of a Woman' to solving the mystery of Phar Lap's death, the Synchrotron offers a plethora of opportunities for conducting Scientific investigations today and into the future.
