Monash University - New Bachelor of Speech Pathology Degree in 2026
The new Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at Monash University addresses a significant gap in the market for qualified speech pathologists. This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to help with communication and treat eating and drinking disorders.
Students will learn alongside other allied health students at the Monash Peninsula Campus who are studying physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and more. This interdisciplinary approach fosters a collaborative learning environment, preparing students for real-world healthcare settings.
The VCE prerequisite subjects are: Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 35 in English (EAL) or 30 in English other than EAL, and Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematical Methods (any) or Specialist Mathematics, Physics, Health and Human Development, or Physical Education.
