Sport Update
Please see below for some write-ups by our Senior students, who have participated in many sporting activities during the past few weeks:
Interschool AFL:
On Wednesday the 7th of May some of the 5/6s went up to Braemar junior campus for interschool AFL 9s. Thank you to Pearl from Mount Macedon for coming along, Baylie and Lauren for being captains, Mr O, Ash for coaching and Braemar for hosting. We all did a great job and had lots of fun despite the cold and wet but unfortunately, we didn't make it into the grand final. We won 4 games and lost 3 games and ended up coming 4th overall.

On Wednesday the 7th of May the year 5/6 went to Braemar youth campus to play football. Everyone did so well and had a great time despite it being really wet and cold. The boys team played 8 games and won 3 out of 8. We would like to give a big thank you to Damien Leatch for coaching and Braemar for hosting.

Walk To School Day:
On Friday the 16th of May it was Walk To School Day and a group of students gathered at Tony Clark reserve and walked to school with Andrew. There was a massive gap between the people that walked between Thursday and Friday and there were more people that walked on Friday than people that drove. On Thursday 26 people walked in the whole school and on Friday exactly 100 people walked! The class that won the award for most people walking was Ms Dodd's class with a total of 25 people walking.

Interschool Soccer:
On Monday the 19th of May the grade 5/6 went down to Dixon field to play soccer. We gave it our best effort but sadly we didn't make it to finals. We won 2 games and lost 2 games and came fifth overall. A big thanks to Andrew for coaching us.

On Monday the 19th of May some of the 5\6s went down to Dixon field for inter school soccer. We all did a great job and had lots of fun. Thanks to Mr O and all teachers and parents that made this day possible. We won 3 games and drew 1 game. We made it into the grand final but ended up losing 1- 0 coming second over all.
