ANZAC DAY
The Year 6s were fortunate to be invited to Hampton RSL to commemorate Anzac Day. It was so special to see different schools and watch some of our classmates talk and place a book as a sign of respect to those that fought and have fought for our country. It was such an amazing experience!
After the RSL the year 6s ran our school Anzac Mass. Our class got to read poems, the Ode and sang some beautiful songs. We shared a moment of silence to remember those who fought for our country.

Year 5 Public Speaking Program
This term, our Year 5 students are excited to begin their Public Speaking journey, guided by the wonderful Sandra De Geest. Their first project is to introduce themselves to their teachers, coordinator, and friends through a carefully prepared speech. Students are learning to plan, write, and rehearse their speeches with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. They are encouraged to speak confidently about their families, hobbies, and future ambitions, keeping their speech concise within a 2–3 minute timeframe. With a strong focus on preparation, rehearsal, and presentation skills, our students are already developing the confidence and poise needed for successful public speaking!
