Role at St Mary's

I have been working in St Mary’s as a CRT for a couple of weeks and now will be in Year 3 while Mr McGeough is away.

How many years have you been in education?

I have been in education for three years, one year in Ireland and two here in Melbourne.

What’s your favourite thing about St Mary's?

I love how welcoming everyone has been! It has been great visiting all the different classes and seeing all the fantastic lessons and activities you get up to. I also love how active and sporty the school is.

What’s your favourite food?

I love a nice roast dinner.

What’s your favourite book?

My favourite book is The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. It’s suitable for all ages and is a nice one to flick through. It’s filled with meaningful and touching quotes to brighten your day. Definitely a feel good read.

What’s your favourite movie?

This is a tough one, I recently watched Shrek two and had a good laugh!

Who’s your favourite band/singer?

I love the band Fontaines DC. They’re Irish. They recently came to Melbourne which was very fun.

Do you support a sports team?

I support a Gaelic football team ‘Dublin’, where I’m from. Gaelic football is similar to AFL but we have a round ball and rectangular pitch. Up the Dubs!

What do you enjoy doing outside of school?

I’m very active. I spend a lot of my free time running and in the gym too. At the weekends I love walking around markets and having a look in the Op shops.

If you could go anywhere in the world on holiday, where would it be?

I would love to visit Japan. The food, culture and architecture are so different compared to here and would be incredible to experience.

Tell us a joke!

Why did the dog not bite the clown? Because he tastes funny.
