Dolly's Dream- Do it For Dolly Day

On Tuesday 6th May we will celebrate Do it for Dolly Day - Students are encouraged to wear something blue on this day. This occasion is an opportunity to promote kindness and remind students to always seek help from trusted adults.
Dolly Everett's dream of a kinder world, free from bullying
At the beginning of 2018, the country was devastated by the untimely death of 14-year- old Dolly Everett who took her own life after an extended period of bullying and cyber-bullying. Inspired by her spirit and fuelled by hope, Dolly's parents set out on a mission to create a kinder, safer world for every child. Hence the start of the of what to become Dolly's Dream. Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.
On Tuesday 6th May students are invited to dress in BLUE as we focus on how together, we can create a safer, kinder world, starting with our own school community!
