Workshop Opportunity: Building Resilience Through Independence
Dear Families,
During Education Week, as Ocean Grove Primary School’s Mental Health & Wellbeing Leader, I will be running a workshop for parents to help develop their child’s resilience while building independence. The same content will be offered on Tuesday 20th May at three different times.
Details
Many of our children are experiencing challenges related to worry and anxiety. They may encounter difficulties in social situations and online environments, which can leave them feeling overwhelmed. As parents, it can be challenging to support our children as they navigate issues that differ significantly from those we faced at a similar age. Our goal is to assist our adolescents in building resilience so they can approach new challenges with greater confidence. This simple workshop is designed to equip parents with strategies to foster resilience in their children while promoting independence. Participants will receive practical and accessible tools to support their children, all while nurturing strong, loving, and connected relationships.
Workshop Choices on Tuesday 20th May:
Morning: 9am – 10am
Afternoon: 2:20pm – 3:20pm
