Principal's Desk

Dear Parents and Carers,
As we head into the final week of the school year and share our last newsletter for 2025, I want to take a moment to express my sincere thanks for the year we’ve had together (well, my 3 terms!). To all the volunteers who have supported our school in so many ways, thank you. Holy Trinity is incredibly blessed to have a community that gives so generously of their time, energy and expertise. It is a privilege to serve as principal in a community as warm and committed as ours.
I also want to acknowledge our dedicated staff. Their commitment to providing the best possible learning environment for every child is truly outstanding. Our teachers and support staff continue to grow as learners themselves, modelling what it means to be curious, reflective and resilient. Teaching brings great joy but also great challenges, and I am deeply grateful for the way our staff continue to live out our school motto, Love One Another, in all they do.
Of course, the heart of our school is our students. To all our HT and SMC students, thank you for your enthusiasm, your hard work and the positive spirit you bring each day. It has been a pleasure to watch so many of you grow academically, socially and spiritually throughout my 3 terms here.
This Thursday we look forward to celebrating our Year 6 students at their Graduation Mass and Ceremony. They have been a wonderful group of leaders and role models, and we are incredibly proud of all they have contributed during their time at Holy Trinity.
Finally, to the students and families who will be leaving our community at the end of the year, we offer our best wishes for the years ahead. Thank you for the trust you have placed in our school, and for the many ways you have contributed to our community.
End of Term date & time
The end of the 2025 school year is fast approaching, just a reminder that Prep-5 students finish at 3:30pm on Tuesday 16th December.
2026 Staffing & Class Structure
Planning for 2026 is well underway, and I’m pleased to share that staffing for next year has now been finalised. Below you will find the staffing list and class structure for 2026. As you’ll see, there are several positive changes that both the staff and I are excited about.
We are delighted to welcome Miss Stephanie Mihaloukadis to our teaching team. Steph has been a valued LSO at Holy Trinity and has recently completed her teaching degree, and we look forward to seeing her step into this new role. We also warmly welcome back Mrs Rosa Neal, who will be rejoining the teaching team in 2026.

Prep Transition
Today we welcomed our 2026 Prep students for their final transition session. It was wonderful to see their growing confidence as they settled into the classrooms, explored learning activities, and continued building connections with their teachers and new classmates.
These sessions play an important role in helping our youngest learners feel comfortable and excited about starting school next year. We especially thank Mrs Chelsi Taylor for the care and preparation she put into each visit, and our families for supporting their children throughout the transition process.
We look forward to welcoming our new Preps and their families into the Holy Trinity community in 2026.
Semester Two Reports
Over the past few weeks, teachers have been busy writing student reports and analysing the learning data gathered throughout Semester Two. At Holy Trinity, we draw on a wide range of assessment tasks, as well as teacher observations and records, to ensure each report reflects a clear and accurate picture of student learning.
Student reports will be released to families on Monday 15th December via SIMON/PAM. These reports form just one part of our ongoing communication about student progress throughout the year. We hope they provide an opportunity to celebrate each child’s growth and achievements, while also supporting families to discuss areas for continued development as students progress on their learning journey at Holy Trinity.
Carols Night
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas Carols and for the
ongoing support you show our school. Evenings like this remind us of what makes the Holy Trinity community so special, our willingness to come together, celebrate, and create meaningful memories for our children.
We also extend our sincere thanks to all who contributed to the success of the night. A special thank you to Josie for her thoughtful coordination of the Carols, and to Damian for providing such warm and uplifting guitar accompaniment. Thank you to our teachers for the time and care they put into rehearsing with students, and of course to our wonderful students, whose enthusiasm, energy, and joyful singing truly brought the Christmas spirit to life.
Christmas Themed Dress Up Day
To celebrate the end of the school year, the Student Representative Council (SRC) organised a Christmas Themed Casual Dress Day to help raise funds to go towards new sports equipment. Gold coin donations resulted in $230.30 being raised. Thank you to our students and parents for your support.
Student Medication
Student medication that has been stored at school during 2025 will be ready for collection from the office on the students last day of school. All medication is to be collected and signed out by a parent / guardian.
If your child will continue to require medication in 2026 the relevant medical forms will need to be updated by your doctor, signed and dated in preparation for the 2026 school year. Please see further on in the newsletter for further details and the relevant forms you may require.
End of Year - important dates:
- Gratitude Mass - Wednesday 10th December @ 1pm
The students will travel to and from St Judes Church by bus for a whole school end of year Gratitude Mass. Parents are welcome to attend.
Following Mass, remaining in the Church, the `hand over of student leadership ceremony’ will take place. We will also use this opportunity to farewell staff who will not be returning to Holy Trinity in 2025.

The class groupings for 2026 will be announced to students. Students will have the opportunity to meet in their new class groupings and meet their new classroom teacher.

Because they’re really good at it.

On a golf corpse.
What’s the easiest shot in golf?
Your fourth putt.
Final Thoughts ~ Thankyou & Christmas Blessings
While we still have a little over a week to go, I would like to take this opportunity to wish every family a very Merry and Holy Christmas. May the birth of Christ fill your homes with peace, hope, and joy during this blessed season.
If you are travelling, travel well and stay safe. If you are spending Christmas at home, may it be a time of rest, togetherness, and gratitude with those you love.
Thank you for your support throughout the year. I look forward to all that awaits us as we begin a new and exciting year together in 2026.
