Visual Arts - Matthew 6B ‘Be Respectful’ Matt is a respectful, helpful, friendly and polite member of the art class. He is always engaged and focused on his work, striving to complete it to the best of his ability. He sets an outstanding example for his peers. Congratulations Matt!
Performing Arts - Peyland 3A ‘Be a Learner’ for demonstrating a tremendous effort and drive in her dance rehearsals for the school concert. Well done for displaying integrity and pride in Performing Arts whilst being a good role model to your peers!
Chinese - Daniel 3C 'Be a Learner' Daniel has been working so hard and showing his love for learning Chinese! He is now starting to write Chinese characters all by himself, which is such an exciting achievement. We are so proud of his effort and the way he keeps trying new things. Well Done Daniel.

5B - Caileigh ‘Be a Learner’ for persevering and demonstrating determination during all learning tasks, even when it is challenging. She has shown so much growth in all curriculum areas this term and it is a result of her positive attitude to learning and implementing new learning into her independent tasks. Well done Caileigh!
5C - Erimyas ‘Be a Learner’ for showing an outstanding improvement in your spelling. You have been taking extra care to sound out tricky words, check your work, and try new spelling strategies. Your writing is becoming clearer and more accurate because of the effort you put into each piece. It’s great to see you using stronger vocabulary and spelling words with confidence. Keep practising and keep shining!
4A - Sahib 'Be a Learner' Sahib has settled in so well into the classroom on his return to Deer Park West. He has been giving everything a go and has shown a wonderfully positive approach to challenges. Keep up the awesome work, Sahib! We are so glad you are here!
4B -Awarded for Demonstrating Leadership Skills to Jaya, Sabrina, Audrey, Hildana, Elissa & Aleyah for putting their hand up and applying for Sports Captains. They spent their own time writing, practicing their speeches and then proudly spoke in front of their peers.
4C - Jane ‘Be Respectful’ Jane you have been voted by your peers for showing kindness and respect to others. You are a true role model to everyone in the yard and in the classroom. Thank you for being FABULOUS!!
3A - Santos ‘Be a Learner’ Santos has shown resilience and pride in his learning by attending school every day this week. Well done Santos, this is a fantastic achievement. Keep it up!!

1A - Snit 'Be a Learner' for fantastic growth in reading, showing improved fluency, stronger decoding skills, and clear understanding when answering questions about the text.

FB - Jiyan This award is presented to Jiyan for his focus and effort during all learning tasks this week. Jiyan avoided distractions and remained focused on excelling in all tasks. Keep up the fantastic work, Jai. 🙂
FC - Khoi ‘Be a Learner’ This award is presented to Khoi for his focus and effort during Writing this week. When asked to write about his weekend, he carefully copied the sentence-starter from the board, remembered to include finger-spaces between his words and made a very good attempt at spelling the name of a game that he likes to play. Keep up the fantastic work, Khoi. 🙂
