 PHYSICAL EDUCATION WITH MISS HINDS

This term Physical Education sessions with Miss Hinds are focusing on developing students' athletic skills, including sprinting, long jump, shot put, and relay running. These sessions aim to help students develop fundamental movement skills that are necessary for their physical growth and development. Through teamwork, students will build on their interpersonal skills and learn how to work collaboratively towards a common goal. In addition to this, students will learn the importance of movement in their daily lives and how it can positively impact their physical and mental well-being.

REPRESENTATIVE SPORT

This week we have had students represent St Aidan’s at the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 1 trials for both football (soccer) and netball.

Congratulations to Niamh, Grace and Clara who attended the trial for netball at Heffron Centre. This was a huge trial with over 75 students in attendance. It is with great pleasure and excitement to announce that Clara (5) has been selected to progress through to the next level. We are beyond proud of all the students' efforts and cannot wait to hear about Clara’s experience.

Some students in Years 5 and 6 will be attending the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 1 football (soccer) trials later this week. We wish Liam (6), Kris (6), Phillip (6), Grace (5) and Rylee (5) the best of luck and look forward to hearing how they went.
