Canberra Excursion

THS is excited to announce the date & highlights of the Canberra Excursion, open to Year 11 & 12 students in 2024. The 7-night all-inclusive cost, after 50% subsidy has been applied by THS, is $780. The excursion is able to be paid off in weekly/fortnightly or monthly installments to suit your budget. The full itinerary/T&C/VOR will be issued this week. A $180 non-refundable deposit is required by 28 March to secure your spot.

This incredible opportunity has been made available due to the generous monetary gift, bestowed to THS by the late Mrs Patricia Williams.

Meet the Teachers BBQ

Thank you to the families who attended the Meet the Teachers BBQ on 12 February. It was a great opportunity to network with other families & meet our new & existing staff. 

New Staff

THS welcomes the addition of 2 new Teachers to our team in 2024. Let us introduce you to Support Teacher Ms Kelly Robson & History Teacher Mr Lachlan Douglas.

THS also welcomes the addition of 3 new faces in the Support faculty. Welcome to our new SLSO Amorette, Dylan & Sarah. We hope you are settling into your new roles.

University Showcase

Tenterfield High School seniors were given the opportunity to attend the University Showcase in our MPU on 12 February. 7 Universities were available to discuss information with students one on one, answer questions & provide take-home information on the array of university options available to them. Thank you to Mrs Clothier for bringing this to THS!

Tenterfield Show

Mr Caisley's Art students entered some great artwork into the Tenterfield show on 26/27 January.  Congratulations to Audrey Kelly who received 2 first prizes, Beau Kelly second prize & Micah Snitch third prize for their "evidence of rain" entries. Well done to all students who showcased their talents at the Tenterfield show.

Police Visit

THS welcomed Sergeants Fiona McCormack and Chris Duncan to THS on 7 February. They were really impressed with how friendly our students were, even welcoming Sergeant Chris into their game of basketball!

Well done THS staff!!

A big thank you to some of our staff who had a very early start to the day with their water safety and bronze medallion testing. Staff undergo this training so students can take part in swimming carnivals, swimming for sport and any excursion with water activities.
