What a splash we made at our Swimming Carnival during Week 1! Everyone had an incredible day of fun in the sun! The pool was buzzing with excitement as our talented swimmers showcased their skills and the fantastic turnout from our school community made it all the more special.

The sea of colourful outfits showcased the true spirit of our school, as everyone embraced their house pride with zest and creativity. A massive shoutout to all the parents and carers who braved the heat to cheer on our swimmers.

A Player's Perspective on the NSW Youth Cricket Championships

Over the summer holidays (just before Christmas) I attended a regional cricket carnival in Dubbo. The carnival was called NSW Youth Championships. Our team was competitive and I was pleased with my batting and bowling performances.

Selectors then picked a team to compete in the State Challenge. I was selected for that competition which meant another four days of cricket in Dubbo at the end of January. Our team played everyone around NSW. This competition had eight teams. Four Sydney teams and four Country teams.

This was a great experience playing with cricketers that I usually play against. Despite the high 30 degree days it was still great fun. Each night our team got to eat out.

While we only won one game, we were quite competitive and came close to winning a few games.
