The last three days of school

Thank you so much to everyone who supported Cavendish PS this year, you have helped make our school the best it can be. Your partnership is truly appreciated and it plays a vital role in the success of our school.

Congratulations to our Year 6's who have finished their primary school years.  All the best for your future.  We wish you every success and hope you enjoy secondary school.

2024 Staffing - latest update!

We still have an active advertisement for a 2 day classroom teacher position on Recruitment Online. This closes next week. If we get no applicants we have a contingency plan in place to ensure all classes will have a teacher every day.

Miss Purnell, Miss Gray, Miss Ferrier, Mrs Girdwood, Mrs Bell and Mrs Barber all have a role at school next year.

Swimming Carnival

On Monday, our Swimming Carnival came to an abrupt halt after an emergency incident at the pool. Well done to the quick but controlled response to the evacuation order. Fortunately the little boy at the centre of it all is recovering well in hospital.

Previous swimming carnivals have been impacted by bushfire, chemical spills and covid so this year continues the unwanted curse!

The good news is that we had completed half of the swimming events before leaving and scores have been counted.

I am pleased to announce GLENELG HOUSE  winners of the 2023 Swimming Trophy.

End of Year Water Fight

The sun appeared just in time for the water fight. With rules and boundaries established everyone launched into the water fun with great excitement and good cheer. The smiles on the children's faces was a great tonic to finish the busy year on, and with an icy pole to finish it was greatly appreciated by all.

Have a great weekend and a happy and healthy holiday.

Merry Christmas to you all.
