Year 1

1C have had a wonderful start to the year, we have spent the first week learning about each other and building new connections we with our new classmates. We have been playing ‘get to know you’ games and learning team building games.

In literacy we have been reading stories about making new friends and what a good friend looks like. We have completed many craft activities which are proudly displayed in our classroom.

In numeracy we have been focusing on skip counting and created a counting by 5s display for our classroom. We have practised writing and continuing number patterns.

We also made graphs about our birthdays, or favourite fruit and how we are feeling about being back at school.

We are looking forward to 2024 and cannot wait to have a fun year.
