Our Journey Book Club brings together both staff and students in a vibrant and engaging community that shares the love of reading. It provides a space where ideas, perspectives, and conversations flourish across year levels and experiences.

This term, the club has chosen to read Only a Monster by Vanessa Len, a thrilling and thought - provoking fantasy novel that explores identity, morality, and what it means to be a hero or a villain.

Synopsis:

Joan Chang-Hunt discovers her family are monsters with hidden powers. When a powerful monster-slayer threatens them, Joan is pulled into a dangerous hidden world where she must question everything she believes about heroes and villains. To survive and protect her family, she must embrace her monstrous side - even if it changes who she is.

We look forward to the engaging discussions this novel will sure to inspire.
