Brass instrument come and try session

Last week we were fortunate to have Mr O'Connor bring in some brass instruments to show our students. Some were given a chance to play them, if they were interested. There were cornets, euphoniums, and even a trombone! We learned the similarities and differences between these instruments and others that we knew- like trumpets, tubas and bugles. 

We learned how to hold each instrument, that we "buzz" not blow into them, and that the top of the range euphonium is worth more than Mr O'Connor's car! All students showed great respect in handling the instruments and waiting patiently for turns in between every clean.
