Q: What can you find in the middle of March and April, but not at the beginning of either month?
Grade 5/6 had a fantastic visit to Melbourne Museum on Tuesday, 12 May as part of our STEM and Geography units. Our focus was ‘Our Wondrous Planet’ where we explored different types of habitats and environments, learning how we can look after them and preserve their biodiversity for the future.

The museum staff first engaged our senses with an immersive experience of the many environments found here in Victoria then encouraged us to learn about the different habitats by taking part in a question and answer treasure hunt. It was a great way to find out more about our world and we spent the rest of our time exploring all that the museum has to offer.
It was a tiring but exciting day we all enjoyed. A huge thank you to our parent volunteers on the day, Sam Mitchell, Michelle Ryan, Ben Maclean and Emily Boyd.
