RACV Safety Squad 

On Monday, Liz from RACV Safety Squad visited our classroom. We talked about safe and unsafe scenarios both at home and on the road. It was a very interactive session with a song, a story and role play situations.

Literacy

Thank you again for the fantastic parent support we have in our Tuesday Reader's Workshop groups. The session allows for a diverse range of books and activities to suit all readers.

Writing/ Inquiry

To tie in with our Inquiry unit, Looking After our World, we watched a short video called 'All the way to the ocean'. We then spoke about what happens to rubbish that is dropped on the ground. To explain their understanding, students had a go at writing about the topic and they also made great sea creatures to create a class mural.

Numeracy

This week we have revisited Subtraction. Students have practised their problem solving skills to work out number sentences.
