 Dear Parents/Carers,

 

Aussie of the Month

Congratulations to our Aussie of the Month - Grace S in 1/2Y.  Grace is very proactive in her friendships and supporting other students. She is always happy to work with anyone in the room in partner work, and ensures everyone's voice is heard in small group work. She is a very diligent student who always completes class work to a high standard, and is always happy to help others in the class. She always has a smile on her face. 

MACSISS SURVEY

All the students from Year 4 to Year 6 at our school did a survey called “MACSISS”. The survey made sure everyone here had a say and asked the students about their opinion of our school.  Parents and teachers also completed the survey.

3/4 Mass on Wednesday

Sadly the weater was very wet on Wednesday and the 3/4 's couldn't walk to Mass.  

Good luck District Athletics 

To all of the children that are going to District Athletics, good luck. We are going to do different field and track events like shot put, discs, long jump, 1500m, and 800m.  All the people who did best in the event will be in the district. Good luck!

Father's/Special Persons Day Stall

This Thursday and Friday we will be opening a Fathers Day Stall. The prices will vary but you will not need to bring any more than $10 dollars.  Remember to keep it a surprise for them. 

 

Father's/Special Persons Day Breakfast Tomorrow 

This Friday, the 1st of September, we will be holding our Father's Day Breakfastl. We have had about 90 Dads/Special Friends say they are coming along. It will start at 7:30am and finish at 9am. Remember there will be a delicious range of food and beverages in the Hall.  So please come.

Family Movie Night

Last Friday, we hosted a movie night for allour families to celebrate the end of Book Week. The movie was “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. We had about 70 people come along and it was lots of fun.

Mixed Tennis and Rounders Final

On the 8th of September, the Mixed Tennis and Rounders team will be playing the finals against Parkdale Primary School. So good luck to the participating children. 

Office 

Tracey will be taking leave next week - she is chasing the sun and having a week in QLD. The office will be manned as usual in Tracey’s absence. Fiona, Mrs Sullivan, Mrs Wendt, and Mrs Marziano will be taking over the office when Tracey leaves.

Because I’m having a baby in term 4.

Yes, super excited!

When will you be back?

Hopefully in semester 2, 2024.

Do you have any other children?

Yes, Cleo, and she is 2 and a half.

km run = 11.5km 

Total km = 154.5km 

We are on the Hume Fwy/National Hwy in Longwood

This is close to Euroa
