Our Father in Heaven,
Look over and bless St. Augustine’s while we are working and playing.
Help us to respect and care for each other as you taught us to.
Give us the opportunity to do our best for you each day.
We look forward to being able to share our lives with our friends and families.
Keep us safe and give us the courage to be
people who want to know you more. Amen.
As we say goodbye to Fr John
Travel Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May good luck be with you Wherever you go,
and your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow.
May your days be many and your troubles be few,
May all God’s blessings descend upon you,
May peace be within you,
May your heart be strong,
May you find what you’re seeking wherever you roam.
May you have the hindsight to know where you’ve been the foresight to know where you’re going and the insight to know when you’re going too far.
Congratulations to the Year 3 students who made their First Eucharist on Sunday 27th August. We had a beautiful celebration over the weekend ( the sun came out) and all the students did an amazing job. They looked so gorgeous and we are so proud of them all.
Thank you to the parents for all their love, care and attention in getting their child ready for this special day.
Thank you to Miss Maher and Miss Jones for their preparation and support in leading up to the students First Eucharist.
Thanks to all the teachers who attended First Eucharist and did their little bit to help out. It is always a beautiful day that the teachers love coming to watch.
Special thanks to Fr John for celebrating this day with us. It was an extra special day as it was Fr John's last sacrament that he will be officiating at our school. I am sure the students and their families will remember this day with very fond and happy memories.
Well done to all the students and now we look forward to Confirmation in Term 4
Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandfathers, uncles and special men in the lives of the students at our school. We hope you have a wonderful day.
Kind Regards,
Michele Witchell
