Leslie Barklamb Scholarship Competition

On Sunday 27th August some of our Banyule Primary Flute students participated in the Leslie Barklamb scholarship 2023- The Victorian Flute Guild. 

The competition was fierce and one of our students Alex Zhou was successful in placing 2nd place in the Under 15 years old category and 1st place in the Under 13 year old category. It was such an amazing effort.

Chess Club 

More great news from Banyule Chess Team 

We won the Zonal School Champion trophy for the second time!!

There was 11 schools attending the Primary Open Zonal chess tournament held on the 31st of August at Kangaroo Ground Primary School for Banyule to compete against.

Alex and his Under 13's Ice Hockey team "The Ducks" put up a fantastic fight at the State Grand finals for Ice Hockey going in as the under dogs and coming away with the win! Congratulations to Alex who also scored 3 of the teams goals. Well done
