The Drummo Sport Report
Athletics
A couple of weeks ago, a team of 35 of our best track and field athletes went to Llanberris to test their skills against students from other Ballarat schools. Students were chosen for this district Athletics based on last year's sports results and their work in PE classes.
From that group 12 students qualified to move on to compete in the Eureka Athletics day last Tuesday against students from all Ballarat and district schools.
It was a very successful day for all competitors.

Netball 2023 Wrap Up
It's been another fantastic year for our St Pats Drummo teams in the after school Netball.
Thanks to all the families that have supported netball this year.
We've had around 60 kids playing through the 2 winter terms. They've been committed and enthusiastic and coachable.
We've had many fantastic parents volunteer to coach and help develop our young players. A huge thank you goes to them. We appreciate the time and patience you have given.
" The growth and skills gained by my 3/4 team this year was PHENOMENAL! Starting out not knowing any positions or how to get in front of a player for the ball, to making space, passing directly and pushing the ball up high enough to get a goal.
It was a fun team to be a part of this year!" - Words from Emily, coach of 3/4 Drummo Wed Team.
Good luck to the 2 Wed 5/6 teams that are playing in their Grand Finals tonight.
