Careers Connect 

In 2023 for Careers Connect, the students are focusing on the theme ‘I Discover’ which allows them to discover their strengths and talents. 

In Term 3, students have used these skills to complete a project ‘Build a Food Truck’. Students were able to understand the different stages to build a business by completing a business plan, building the food truck out of recycled materials and presenting this to the class. 

Using their strengths, each student in their groups completed different tasks to achieve the end result. 

Students were able to see future career paths involved in the process. Examples include Product Designer, Architect, Finance Worker, Builder and an Entrepreneur. 

During this task, students had to focus on time management and delegating tasks to get the project completed in the required amount of time. 

An amazing effort from all students as they presented their work and business plan in front of their class. 

We look forward to an exciting Term 4 in Careers!
