Sacramental Masses

Last Sunday our first group of Sacramental students received the Holy Spirit through the Sacrament of Confirmation, and for the first time, they received the Body of Christ in the Eucharist. The service was led by Father Joe and our Deacon Francois Baguma. 

Congratulations and special blessings to all our students and their families for taking this significant step in their faith journey.

We continue to keep all our Sacramental students in our prayers and thoughts.  This weekend we have another three Sacramental Masses for the rest of the candidates who will complete their Sacraments of Initiation.

Sacramental Masses this week

• Friday, October 13th at 6.30pm
• Saturday, October 14th at 6pm
• Sunday, October 15th at 11am

Animal Blessings with Father Joe and 

Father Jackson

Sunday, 8th October 

Last Sunday afternoon, animals lined up (literally) to be blessed by Father Joe and Father Jackson.  

All creatures ‘great and small’ were well behaved and our priests were very brave, blessing each animal individually!  

The Blessing took place in front of the beautiful statue of St Francis of Assisi which was unveiled last Tuesday for the Feast of St Francis.  

This is a wonderful tradition which continues in Italy and now at St. Brendan’s, Shepparton.
