Brooke's Message

Monday 16th October

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back!

Firstly, I would like to thank Alice for holding the fort for the last 2 weeks of Term 3, I’m sure you would all agree that she did a wonderful job of bringing Term 3 to a close, I am very grateful.

I have returned from a family holiday feeling reenergised and relaxed and ready for one of the busiest, but in my opinion, best terms, resulting in a culmination of our students and staff’s hard work throughout the year.

I look forward to sharing with you throughout the term the exciting activities that have been planned.

World Teachers’ Day

On Thursday 05 October we celebrated World Teachers’ Day!

It is a chance to recognise and celebrate the teachers who are making, or have made, an impact in our lives. Whether you're a current student, have children in school, or have been out of school for many years, World Teachers’ Day is a chance to say, ‘thank you’.

I would like to use our newsletter platform to publicly say thank you to our MSS teachers for all their hard work over the past year, they continue to give their very best for our students, and often make personal sacrifices to do so.

So many of them go that extra mile to ensure that our students’ needs are completely met, that their difficulties are understood, and that they achieve all that they can.

Truly, we couldn’t do it without you!

Design a Christmas Card

It’s that time of year again!  Please can you encourage your young people to create a design that can be printed on this year’s school Christmas Cards.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Closing date is 18 October 2023

Student Drop Off & Pick Up

Once again, please can I remind you all that you should not be double parking on the service lane.  The police have been patrolling much more frequently recently and fines are being issued.

I realise that continually looping can be frustrating but would encourage you to keep moving to avoid penalties.
