Term 3 Reflection

Dear Community,

I wish to thank each of you for the support we have received since the beginning of the term. As we reflect on the last ten weeks we remember that we returned from the mid-year holidays with sorrow as we supported each other over the passing of one of our teachers. Since then we have re-engaged with further development of our teaching and learning practice, and provided a vast range of fun opportunities, many provided by parents and carers. Whilst we continue to remember and honour our colleague, I think we should feel proud of our Term 3 and the many opportunities our students enjoyed. We hope the September holidays go well for you and your family.

Last Sunday's Working Bee.

The sun almost came our for last Sunday's Working Bee. Certainly it was better weather than we had experienced over the previous days and we had enough volunteers to achieve a great deal. Our grounds look fresher and we are making solid progress in clearing sheds and storage spaces. This will be very helpful in the lead up to the Fete, but also for the future. Thank you so much to the Abrahams, Bertovic, Best, Camille, Carpenter, Collins, Diprose, Hindson, Johnstone, Kennedy, Parry, Rose- Innes and Weaver families. (There may well have been more who missed the sign up sheet).

Our next Working Bee is Sunday 12th November. A final chance to clean up ahead of the fete.

Happy holidays!
