Jump Rope for Heart kicks off this term!

We're thrilled to announce that Jump Rope for Heart is kicking off this term with a burst of energy and excitement!

Jump Rope for Heart is an incredible initiative by the Heart Foundation that brings fun and fitness to our primary school students while also contributing to lifesaving research and vital support programs.

The Chatham mission this term is to get our students moving, and we've got jump ropes ready to go right here on our school grounds! We invite everyone to join us in raising funds for this fantastic cause. Over the next few weeks, your child will not only learn new skipping skills, but also increase their physical activity levels and gain valuable knowledge about heart health.

This year, we have a goal: to see our Chatham students logging as many hours of skipping as possible throughout the program! When you register your child online, you'll gain access to extra skipping resources that will provide them with a fantastic incentive to step away from screens and enjoy some outdoor fun. While students in Years 2-6 will be skipping during their PE lessons this term, we wholeheartedly encourage our Foundation and Year 1 students to jump in as well, whether it's at home or during school hours. You can share their online fundraising page with family and friends to help raise funds for this wonderful cause.

At the end of the program, there will be a special 'Jump Off' session during their PE lesson in the last week to celebrate their efforts and mark the program's conclusion.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program. Your involvement is making a real difference in the lives of our students and the crucial work of the Heart Foundation. Let's jump into this term with enthusiasm and make it a memorable one for our kids while promoting good health and a charitable spirit!
