Participants will have the opportunity to meet with and be mentored by inspiring senior executives from the tech industry.

About goIT Girls work experience program

TCS’ goIT Girls is a week-long work experience program aimed at female students in Years 10 and 11. At TCS, we are empowering Australian students with the skills they need to be ready for the workplace of the future.

Participants meet senior executives from TCS and its client organisations, who provide insight into the various STEM roles that exist across the business spectrum with the goal of inspiring a new generation of innovators, problem solvers and technology professionals. The aim is to provide insight into the technology industry and challenge gender as well as occupational stereotypes.

goIT Girls has four areas of focus:

  • Provide insight into the technology industry, TCS and the application of technology in our client’s business.
  • Challenge gender stereotypes by showcasing women in STEM as role models
  • Build skills by solving a simulated business case through the application of technology
  • Enhance confidence and employability skills

goIT Girls will be offered as in-person or virtual experience in 2023.
