7M and 7D students studying a unit on ‘Government’ in Humanities thoroughly enjoyed a visit from local MP Darren Chester in Term 3. Darren explained how Government works and the ways that Local, State and Federal government makes decisions and laws and allocates funding. The students had many insightful questions for him. The interest from students in Humanities classes instigated this visit – they are curious and thirsty for knowledge about how their world works. Congratulations to them for using the resources available to them to learn!
